I'm afraid, to be honest I don't know
but I don't think so. There is a flag in MFC to say a field is left to right.
It might be possible to leverage that I believe, but that would be a huge change to XMBC to use that method on every single text in the program. The translation file simply takes the English text and gives an alternative.
Such as "Left Button" => "translation"
So I'm not sure that would be enough?
As to "Smilies" I guess that's just PHPBB for you. I guess its not been updated to emoticons!

Initial Bulgarian translation for XMBC 2.20 beta 6. Not complete but usable.
There is a repeating string in the template (row 121 and 157):

Thanks, I'll add this to the next build and the languages website.
I will also remove the duplicate line from the template (although it actually does not matter, it will take the first one it finds - its just a little confusing I guess!)
