Re: Please help translation XMBC to your language?
Yes typo - -> is used in C++ so Im much more used to typing that - I should have used -> not => but that's life (maybe it should work with either but again not important).
What does it mean.
Well it allows you to have 4 preset cursor speeds (see the new Pointer tab) and cycle through them one by one using the new global hotkey or button mapping. So, it starts at speed 1, and each time you trigger the action (hotkey/button mapping) it moves (cycles) to the next speed setting 1->2->3->4->1 and so on.

Re: Please help translation XMBC to your language?
Hi, I have some questions about 2.19 betas.
1. In recent versions of XMBC, notification text are not displayed in the bottom of the settings panel.
General tab, etc.
"NOTE: You must press OK and apply the settings on the main screen before they take effect."
Language tab,
"NOTE: You must press OK and apply the settings on the main screen before they take effect. Language changes will not be applied until the main window is re-opened."
Global hotkeys tab,
"NOTE: Only valid hotkey combinations will be allowed."
"Global hotkeys are disabled when in the settings dialog. You have to apply and close the settings before they will work."
2. "Media-key tags" and "SimKeys {} drop-down menu" added in 2.19.b4, and "special simkey {TAG}]" section in the language template has two following items. However it seems that relevant tags are not contained (not added) in the symkeys help text.
Line #486 and #524
3. Since the new button and its menu are not displayed in the simkeys panel on my XP, I cannot confirm what following items mean and how they work (perhaps one is going to add {RUN} tag, but how about another one... )
Line #525 and #526
If it is possible, display the button in the simkeys panel even on XP, please.

Re: Please help translation XMBC to your language?
Hi, why have you asked them here and not in the beta thread where these questions belong?!
Do you mean they are not aligned to the bottom? Or not there at all - they are all there for me (beta 7). Maybe because the tabs got bigger and I didn't resize them all.. Maybe something windows XP related - trying to maintain compatibility with Windows XP is becoming very tiresome and difficult... Even Windows 7 is out of support next year so XP in XMBC is defiantly on its last legs and I'm not going to spend much time on that Im afraid.... PS. I'm not saying I wont try, just not going to focus much effort on XP support!sukemaru wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2019 10:17 pm 1. Again belongs in the beta thread as its a beta specific issue. And probably because I added them then removed them.sukemaru wrote: ↑Tue Nov 26, 2019 10:17 pm 2. I've no idea why its not displayed.. Possibly its a button type not supported in XP (a split button with dropdown) - thats quite possible.... If thats the case, then probably not a lot I can do about it - I have to draw a line somewhere -and maybe 2.19 will have to be it. I want to upgrade my dev environment (In fact I will probably have to sometime next year for work reasons) and newer versions of visual studio can even compile for XP as far as I know, at which point thats it for XP!.
NOTE TO ALL - for any beta related issues please make sure, in the future, that you post them in the beta thread NOT the translation thread! Much more likely not to be forgotten in there!

Re: Please help translation XMBC to your language?
I ask again...
what is the different between "Mouse speed" and "cursor speed"
Isn't that the same?
I have no idea how to translate this in a meaningful and understandable way.

Re: Please help translation XMBC to your language?
Yes effectively the same (English is great like that - why use one word when you can use many), but think of "cursor speed cycle" the name of the function...
So its the mouse speed to set for each step in the cursor speed cycle...
But yes cursor speed = mouse speed which is sort of = DPI (although not really). This is to simulate the change DPI button of some mice...
