Re: Please help translation XMBC to your language?
It means the simulated keystroke methods (Simulated keystroke methods 4 and 5) that send keystrokes in another thread.
The other thread is used so that the main thread does not get locked up/blocked if there are delays in the simulated keystrokes.
For example: If, in the main thread (methods 1, 2, 3 etc) you did {WAIT:8} that would wait 8 seconds and during that time the mouse would be blocked. Windows (and the user) does not like that and on Windows Vista and later, windows will remove the mouse hook because it will think it has crashed . If you use methods 4 and 5 then that wont happen.
I hope that makes sense Let me know if not.
Thanks,
Phil

Re: Please help translation XMBC to your language?
Hi Phil,
French language file for v2.7 beta 7 re-updated...
The template is not up to date on the language packs page, and 'XMouseButtonControlSetup.2.7 Beta7' package (downloaded it a few minutes ago) still contains the french translation of the v2.7 beta 6.
Regards,
damien/dipisoft.

Re: Please help translation XMBC to your language?
Hi Phil,
Here's the updated French translation.
I also propose the template updated with the latest texts that you added because the version on the "language packs" page is always the version 2.7 beta 7.
In addition:

In addition:
- I corrected the position of the shortcut ("&") that was wrong in "Initial re&peat rate" (#Global settings: Advanced settings), thereby causing non translated text.
- Width reserved for the labels "Initial re&peat rate" and "&Repeat tilt rate" is low, the full translation does not appear. Can you try to change the layout as you did for "Dela&y between simulated keystrokes" ?

Re: Please help translation XMBC to your language?
Hi Damien,
I guess I forgot to update the links on the website - I thought I had but maybe I put them in the wrong place!
I will try and fix that tonight.
The "Initial Re&peat" was one of the changes in 2.8b1 and I had already fixed that in the installed version (but clearly not the website because - see above!)
As for the widths of the other two fields, I will see what I can do - I dont think there is much room to play with but I will give it a go.
Thanks,
Phil

Re: Please help translation XMBC to your language?
Really? Very odd. Is that just because the entries are not in the list in the template? Because all actions run through the translator. If they are missing, just add them and see if it works.

Re: Please help translation XMBC to your language?
Hi,
Here's the updated French translation for v2.8 beta 5.
@AndyK : There is a minor error at line 112 of your translation. The original text is "Initial re&peat rate" and not &Initial repeat rate" (the location of "&" character is wrong). So the translation of this text does not appear.
Regards,
damien.

Re: Please help translation XMBC to your language?
I've just released 2.8 beta 6 and there are some new texts to translate.
Please update you translations so I can include them in the final 2.8 release.
I've updated the template file so you can get the new texts from there, or you can just add the following:
