Having to double click when swapping 2 buttons?

Post by UniQ »

Just found this and I wanted to use it for switching out my button 4 and 5. The reason for using is that on my mouse the normal forward is back and the back is forward, when you are going back and forth on sites for example. I found that it works but the issue I am having is that I have to click 2 times on a button to actually go forward or backwards when I switch the buttons. Can I change that?

That is odd, you shouldn't have to double click anything?
What mappings have you actually set and to what buttons?

Thanks,
Phil

The side buttons, button 4 and 5. I make button for sticky button 5 and button 5 sticky button 4. and it works consistently but I have to press another "command" before it registers. I found out it works if I just click any other button.
So if I want to go back I have to click a button then button 5.

This progblem seems to occur with the other buttons too as sometimes I cant click anything for awhile when I have anything on x mouse

OK you will have to enable debug logging and try and capture some log of this happening because it does not really make sense right now.

Enable debug logging in the Settings screen then OK and APPLY.

Once you have captured some log where this problem occurs, send it to me (paste a snippet in here or PM it/email it to me).

Thanks,
Phil
