Question on Run Applications setting

Post by kingsped »

New to this so bear with me but having some trouble in setting up a Click setting in Default to run a particular program (doesn't seem to matter which). When I first input and apply the setting, I can see the Program's name/location within the brackets on the Xmouse display screen. But if I close the screen and then immediately reopen it, I see Run Application {}. If I check XMBCSettings.xml I wIll see the program I previously entered.

I have more, but I wll leave it at this for now. Help please.

Sorry its a bug. I noticed this the other day too.
It will be fixed in the next version when ever that arrives.

Presumably, when it shows [], it does not run the application previously defined?
There are a few little bugs like this collecting up now so its probably about time for me to think about v2.1, but I a bit busy at work and dont have a lot of spare time for XMBC right now.

Thanks,
Phil

Thanks for the prompt reply. Seems like: If I add another Run Application setting and save it, I lose any previous Run Application settings. In other words, must add them all at once. See this by inspecting XMBCSettings.xml after changing. Hope that helps.
