Im using a dell mouse with win7 and maping my keys with x mouse, I have hand grenades mapped to left wheel button and chaingun to right tilt wheel neither of which will respond while holding down my right mouse which is used all the time to ski in a game I play called 'legions overdrive'.

It looks at first glance that XMBC ignores the tile messages when another button is held down.
I don't know if that is the mouse or the software - but its probably the software. I will have to have a look at the code to remind myself why it does that.

I'll get back to you (but for now its not possible to do this in the current version).

ok thanks phil, someone else suggested that it might be the actual mouse not supporting multi mesages.

OK, I had a look and I am intentionally ignoring the tilt messages if the left or right mouse button is held down (there was a good reason for this but I cant remember it now... Doh!)

Anyway, that is why it does not work!

What I will do, is change it such that: If the action is not "No change" then it will process it even if the buttons are held. If it is "no change" i.e, tilt, then only process it if the buttons are not held down.

If you want to test the new beta which has this update let me know and I'll PM you the link.

Thanks
Phil

yes please phil, I bought another logitech but If its like the last 4 it will probably die in a year or so.

I dont like being locked into software/hardware relationships so if I can use just any 5 button mouse and your software then thats the way I will go :)

cheers

The beta download is here.

If you find any problems let me know, but be aware that I probably wont have much time to do more with it for a couple of weeks.

Thanks,
Phil
