Its almost ready, but before I put it out to the masses, I want to get a few more users putting it through its paces. Right now MainTrane has been the main driver of this version and has helped considerably with the testing, but one user does not offer such a wide spectrum of usage.
The main new features are:
- Better use of multi-threading to improve performance.
- Application specific profiles extended to support individual windows and their controls, allowing you to change button mappings for any window on your system.
- Activation of profiles simply by moving the mouse over them.
- Improved SimKey {WAIT...} functionality
- Simulated keystroke send method 'Sticky-Hold', mainly for locking down modifier keys.
- Redesign of the advanced scrolling, now attached to the profiles.
- Default profile's settings are now inherited by newly added profiles.
- Ability to describe/customize the name of profiles.
- Reset button clears a layer's button mappings, passing them through to the default profile.
- Ability to import/export profiles, with file association allowing import simply by downloading/opening a file, thus allowing me (or anyone) to publish profiles online that others can "install".
- Added new pre-configured drop-down-settings for button mappings.
- Apply button logic with confirmation on exit to prevent loss of modified settings.
- An updated GUI to tie it all together.
If you think you find a bug, let me know in this thread or via PM. and just to be clear, right now, I'm not looking for change requests unless its related to a bug.
