reinstalling windows, im gonna see if i can find the settings folder and save it manually, but would be cool to export settings inside xmbc(and later import). just an idea.

Re: Reinstalling windows, export xmbc settings?.
The best idea, if your into reinstalling often (like I am) is tyo specify the location of the settings file during installation (keep it on another drive/partition/folder that survives the reinistall).
I keep mine somewhere in "my documents" or documents as its now known - but I always relocate my documents folder to another drive so its safe and always there after a reinstall. Having said that, I'm sure I could add an import/export option somewhere in the settings dialog - I will investigate.
