issue when useing Firefox with XMouse

Post by ArtSmith »

XMBC Version: 2.20.5
Installed or Portable version: installed
Windows Version: Windows 11 Pro 24H2 26100.8328
Mouse Information (brand/model):
Relevant Computer Information (CPU, RAM etc):
Did the problem occur after an upgrade of XMBC? (If so, from what version?):
Did the problem occur after a Windows update/upgrade? (If so, from what version?):
How long have you used XMBC?:
What language and keyboard layout do you use in Windows?:

Hi,
For some reason when I have XMouse active and go into the development tools in Firefox 150.0.2 and try to resize the right side pane, I have a limit on how much I can drag it to the left. Without XMouse active I can drag the right pane to have it take up about 80-85% of the window. With XMouse active and I drag the right side pane to the left I'm only able to resize it to about 35-40% of the window.

I have posted on Firefox support, and thought I might ask here as well. I'm using the default settings from the install other then having the middle button set to 'double click'.

I'm not seeing the same here with the same (latest) version of Firefox, but I'm also using the latest XMBC beta...

I don't really see how XMBC could be interfering with this, but maybe some configuration/setting? Especially if you have only modified the middle button and not touched anything else (I presume everything else is set to "nothing (don't intercept)"??! But if disabling XMBC is the only difference between it working and not, certainly points to a problem with XMBC...

Can you share your profile with me (via private message) so I can load it here to check?
Can you see if the latest beta also causes the same problem?

Yes everything is set to " ** No Change ( Don't Intercept ) ** " in the Layer 1 tab except for the Middle Button which is set to " double click " and did not change any of the other settings.

To my surprise when I loaded Firefox and tried it again today I was able to drag the size of the right panel to its maximum width of about 80-85% the window. I had not changed any settings in either Firefox or XMouse.
