Can x-mouse button control simulate holding down a key? I'm trying to play a game using only the mouse and the only keys I need my mouse to simulate is the key's moving forward and backward. That's done by holding down a button for forward and one for backward. However every option in the settings only simulate button presses not button holding. The closest is one that repeatedly presses that button and that won't work in the game.
Holding down a key through the mouse

Re: Holding down a key through the mouse
Simulated keystrokes, method 3 (during) means hold the key(s) while the button is held.
However its worth pointing out that some games detect and block simulated keystrokes, or anti-cheat detects and can result in bans, so be aware of that and be careful - especially if its an online/competitive game!

Oh that worked! Thank you. Strange, I thought I tried all the options before posting.
