Cant get Window Restore function to work

Post by eis555 »

Running v1.52 (x86) on Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3 (build 2600) with 5 button MS Wireless Intellimouse Explorer 2.0 mouse using generic HID driver (did have Intellipoint sw installed but removed it and rebooted after installing XMBC). I assigned button 5 to Maximize Window function and am trying to assign button 4 to Restore Window. Maximize works great, Restore doesnt restore down to prev window size (from maximized). I tried assigning the Restore function to the click wheel and then to the right button, and it doesnt seem to do anything in any of those positions. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hi,

This is a bug - and a long standing one! The restore option is doing the same thing as maximize!
I cant believe you are the first to spot this as it must have been there for several years!

Anyway, thanks for the information. It will be fixed in the next version.

Thanks,
Phil
