New user as of today. (But working in IT and have been using computers over 5 decades. A nostalgic hit from seeing phpBB for the first time in years!)
Evoluent: evoluent is a major manufacturer of ergonomic mice. When I moved to an ARM based laptop, their mouse config app no longer worked. I wrote to their support that they should port to or support ARM64, as surely the architecture will partly supplant x86/x64 in 2025 and onwards. Their reply was to point me to your app (and courteously point out that button 6 would not be possible to map). I thought you might like to know this. And you may want to mention on your page that app has been tested and works well on ARM64.
Wikipedia: I stumbled over the page Mouse_chording on wikipedia. I almost went ahead and edited you in, but you may want to be in control of that yourself: make a small Wikipedia entry and link on that page? ("you" being author phil or the community)
Thanks for an app of the sorts I that I like - immensely flexible and configurable. I will be looking out for how to share info about specific configs. So far it looks as though I will e.g. search for app "firefox" here in the forum to see what others have done in that respect. People may have posted xmbcs-configs in here also? Is there some other place for sharing, e.g. if someone had "here is my config for Visio which does bla bla bla". A wilder idea would be for the app install itself to come with an example or three with some explanation. "This is a config for old fart geeks focusing on desktop office work. Main things in this config: bla bla bla" and I would load this and see a sample of how others have used it. This is the thing with immensely flexible apps, you need to envision what you want to do, try, experiment, adjust - it might be easier to try a couple of setups.
Oh, and phil, whoever you are - most impressed. I see you actively reply, support and discuss yourself. I will post a donation shortly.
