Oh, I did remember my last question. I was wondering if I should set up a separate profile in X-Mouse for OneNote.
But just to let you know, I was too curious to wait, and I went ahead and tried all your settings. OneNote just laughed at me. <sigh>

Re: problem with scrolling in onenote
The intent of the change I put into beta 38 was that you shouldn't need to "fix" the problem by ticking "disable scroll wheel under cursor".
To be fair, I only tested it with the more recent Onenote so its possible 2016 does it differently and more is needed.
In short, if its not working with Beta 38, no matter the state of the tickbox mentioned above, then I need to investigate why, not sure if I still have access to onenote 2016 (but I think I have the Office ISO's to probably, but will require some time and a new VM setup to attempt to replicate).
In the meantime, turn on debug logging (settings -> logging & updates tab) OK and apply that, reproduce the problem (making a note of the time), turn debug logging back off and send me the log (PM it or paste it here) along with the time - and I will be able to see if there is anything in the log relating to onenote that may help.

Re: problem with scrolling in onenote
Phil,
I just sent (I think) a PM to you with the log info you requested. The info on the screen says "sent at 12:27 p.m." (that's EST), but the message still appears to be sitting in the Outbox, and nothing shows in the Sent folder. I'm unfamiliar with the PM methods of this forum, so am uncertain if the message actually traveled or not, so wanted to alert you to watch for it. Could you let me know if you receive? If not, I'll omit any friendly chatter, LOL, and just drop the log info here. -- C.

I think it sits in the outbox until I read it... which I will do now
