Cycle mouse cursor speed hotkey does not work any more

Windows Version: Windows 11 Professional 64 bit 23H2
Mouse Information (brand/model): Logitech M500 (generic Windows driver)
Relevant Computer Information (CPU, RAM etc):
Did the problem occur after an upgrade of XMBC? (If so, from what version?): I don't know, I use the feature very seldom.
Did the problem occur after a Windows update/upgrade? (If so, from what version?): see above
How long have you used XMBC?: many years
What language and keyboard layout do you use in Windows?: German

The cycle mouse cursor speed hotkey that I used for a long time does not work any more. I tried several other combinations with no success. Thus I cannot change the mouse speed any more.
(Hotkeys created by other programs work as expected.)

When did it stop working? I mean 2.20.5 has been out for over a year now so if its changed within that time, and you haven't changed XMBC versions, then the chances are something external to XMBC is interfering with the keys you have defined???)
