Re: Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse whell buttons not working
Sorry, I cant offer much here as I no longer have any Microsoft mice, and this ones I had previously didn't have the wheel left/right.
The only question I have, is there any way in the MS Kbd & Mouse software to change the tilt (wheel left/right) behavior to standard horizontal scroll?
With Logitech, the software can change the configuration, and often the only way for XMBC to see the messages is either to not install the Logitech software at all (on some devices) or to configure the Logitech software to send the "default" messages (which is often not the default Logitech configuration. It is never really obvious what needs to be changed, but for example, buttons 4 and 5 need to be set to back/forward (or previous/next) to send the "default" messages. Not so sure about the tilt wheel as its less common and therefore may not be so configurable anyway.
I thought Microsoft had stopped making hardware such as keyboards and mice now (is this a new device)?
