Autley Vertical Mouse

Post by drewdavis »

Hi everybody,

Can I ask if XMBC works to program the buttons on the Autley Vertical Mouse?

Thanks in advance!

You can ask, but I don't know it anyone can answer (I can't, other than to say XMBC works with almost all mice (up to 5 buttons)).

A quick search of the forums for "Autley" reveals you are not the first to ask this. Unfortunately no one appears to have tried it, or if they have, they haven't come back here to update with a yes it works or no it doesn't work. So I guess you will have to try it!

The only way to be sure would be to try it. If it works, feel free to add it to the compatible mice thread, if not, then come back here and let me know.

If the mouse has its own configuration software (like Logitech mice do) you may have to tinker with the default settings to make it send the standard windows mouse messages that XMBC looks for and remaps.
