Post by Stilgar75 »

Hi, i m searching a way to configure x-mousecontrol, to bind a mouse button to do a key for the first press, then another key for the second press of the button.

Thanks

You can maybe use layers for this.
If you setup layer one for the first key in simkeys, followed by {LAYER2} and layer two for the second key followed by {LAYER1} then when you are on layer one and press the button, it will perform key 1 and move to layer 2, so when you press the button again, it will perform the second key, and then move back to layer one.

That's probably the only way it can be done currently (you can have up to 10 layers but should only need two for this use-case)

How many do you want??!!
It is not possible to add more than 10 layers (well, not without a lot of work and time - which I don't have at the moment). But by default only 2 are shown (to keep the interface clean) - you can increase that to 10 in general settings -> Number of layers
