Giving a "settings saving" error

I have the XMBC 2.20.2 version installed into my windows PC and i got a chinese mouse of the brand of a Scorpion but on my laptop its not working properly you know, i used before on desktop pc and could make it work but there on my laptop its not working and it gives the following error:

Unable to save settings file 'C:\Program Files\X-Mouse-Button\XMBCSettings.xml'. Please check you installation settings.

Why are you using 2.20.2 - the latest release is 2.20.5?
The error appears to be that it is unable to write to the settings file in "'C:\Program Files\X-Mouse-Button\XMBCSettings.xml" but that is not where the settings file should be (as that is a protected, read only folder that XMBC is installed to).

When installing, did you change the "location of settings" to 'C:\Program Files\X-Mouse-Button' ???? I guess you must have done - that will not work.
Uninstall XMBC then re-install it, and DO NOT CHANGE the location of the settings folder!
