The author of Iconoid (sillysot) has released a new version of Iconoid and included their own x64 port.
Its still beta right now I think but its surely going to be better than my port of 3.8.4
So from now on, I suggest you head to the main site and use their resources rather than my old version.
I tried their updated version a while back. I had been using your x64 ever since I upgraded to Win7, and from what I remember there were issues with the official sites Beta that were not present in your port.
So you may still be a step ahead of the author.
The same version I tested is what's currently on sillysot.
Fair enough - Ive no problem people using my port, but in theory, the official one *should* be more up to date because I havnt touched my version pretty much since Win7 came out.
SillySol's Iconoid allows you to change the colour of text associated with your desktop icons. You can also save and restore the position of desktop icons and, optionally, hide and restore icons by clicking on the desktop.
In order to use Iconoid to change the colour of text you must first turn off drop shadows for icon text. This must be done via Control Panel, System, Advanced System Settings, and then click on the Settings button under Performance. Right clicking on Computer, and then choosing Properties, will only change settings until you logoff or the PC is rebooted.
