MPC-HC

I'm using media player classic. Currently, using it to study some videos from trail cam and I have shortcuts set for CTRL+RIGHT ARROW (X2 on mouse) to scan medium (10 ms) set of frames. I'm not too keen on holding the keyboard controls down the entire time over videos that are an hour, two, three hours long and studying the video.

If I set XMBC 2.20.2 to use {CTRL}{RIGHT} repeat 1000ms on MB5 (X2 in MPC-HC) nothing happens, the same for repeatedly until pressed again. Though it does skip as it is set up in MPC-HC, does not repeat.

Some day I will get a spacemouse enterprise to alleviate many of these issues.

Wow that's a little odd, the post template seems to have disappeared?
Tell you what, if you try again and provide the answers to the questions asked in the template, maybe I will have some idea where to start!

Has this just started happening after updating to 2.20.2 or not (or unknown)?. If I'm to try and reproduce it, the version of Windows might be handy too... There is a reason I ask these things!

I can think of no reason off the top of my head it would not be working, I have used MPC-HC myself (but not for quite some time, and not with XMBC controlling it so I will have to do some research!)

The template was there, I just started writing. I wasn't done writing/editing when you posted. You responded too fast :P

OK Good, same windows as me and I can now make sure I can test with the same MPC-HC version... I'll see if I can reproduce it (not tonight - maybe over the weekend) and see what I can find.

I presume XMBC is doing whats its told and repeating the inputs, so I guess the question will be why is MPC-HC not seeing/acting on them...

I disabled block original input in XMBC and the X2 configuration in MPC-HC, but neither made a difference.

On my main computer (RIP) for MPC-HC and can scan a 20 hour video in about 20 minutes with the MPC-HC settings. Now I'm using an old laptop. It is tiresome though having to hold the keyboard keys down when I have 20 to 50 videos 20gb each to go through. I don't know of any other way other than holding the keyboard keys down, using XMBC to simulate this action, or purchasing spacemouse.

A good reason to remember the previous promise.

It is okay Dolmatov. The previous was about a different issue, but it was with MPC-HC64 too, Phil knew it wasn't wmp. I just gave up studying the videos because I just gave up.

So sorry, no updates yet - I'll try not to forget again (cant look at it tonight though, just home from a weekend away and Im shattered!)
