Application / Windows Profiles list is overlapped

Post by skeeber »

XMBC Version: 2.20.1
Installed or Portable version: installed
Windows Version: 10 Pro

I just noticed this on the last version and upgraded to the latest version and it's still there. Tried uninstall/reinstall no help. It's not that big of a deal as I can still edited them, but maybe there is a quick fix for it.

I would post a pic, but I can't. Thanks.

Are you using the base scaling (100%) or changed for the program/system?
Have you noticed problems with fonts elsewhere?

Ive skipped the post number check - you should be able to post an image now...
And that's a good question regarding window scaling/DPI? The log file might also tell you. There was a change in 2.20 in the drawing of the profile list (the add '...' if the text is too long) its possible that may be related. A screen shot will help (you could always email it to me too if you struggle to post it here but you should be able to post in now anyway!).

No, I don't think I changed anything. Just started displaying like this. I will check though. Where would I find scaling at? Everything else in program looks fine.

OK, after trying a few different scaling settings I found if I right click on the exe file and click on the compatibility tab, then click on "Change high DPI settings" then check the "Override high DPI scaling" box and select "Scaling performed by:" System in the drop down menu it is back to normal.

Thanks. Don't know what has changed as I have used this program for years, but it's back to normal now. :)

OK, now I have another problem. Don't know if it's a problem or just how it works. I have it set up for the left button as Button Held: (custom) and normal click = left click. Then I have 2 held for options after certain times. Normal left click works fine, but I used to be able to left click drag and resize or move the window and now I can't anymore.

OK I know exactly what changed, as I said, the list drawing was changed in 2.20. And I didn't check it properly with different DPI's  - makes sense I will have to fix it! Maybe its time I invested in some 4k monitors, then I would likely see this by default!
