Mouse wheel acti0ns on button 4 and 5 are not recognized by some apps (NOT games)

Installed or Portable version: Installed
Windows Version: 10 x64
Mouse Information (brand/model): Asus UX300 Pro
Relevant Computer Information (CPU, RAM etc): i5-6200U, 4GB RAM
Did the problem occur after an upgrade of XMBC? (If so, from what version?): no
Did the problem occur after a Windows update/upgrade? (If so, from what version?): no
How long have you used XMBC?: several months
What language and keyboard layout do you use in Windows?: Russian and English
Clear description of the problem - try and include as much information as possible, including what button and mappings you are having problems with (if applicable).:
My mouse wheel is failing so in the XMBC I mapped 4 and 5 buttons to mouse wheel up and mouse wheel down actions. It works fine in OS, Chrome and games. But not in some apps like Visual Studio Code and Discord.
