Depends exactly what you want to do - but be aware, many games (esp. online ones) block or BAN people who use XMBC and other tools like it (because they see it as cheating!).

You can use simulated keystrokes, to repeatedly send left mouse button clicks. But how do you want to trigger it - ideally not with the left button?!
Choose the button you want to use, select simulated keystrokes and in there type {LMB} in the input box. Select the relevant "Repeat" method - you can either have it repeat while you hold the button, or until you next click the button.

Thanks,
Phil

Thank you this was very helpful info, One other thing i was wondering is can you click a button to pause the macro temperately? Because in the game im using it for it would be ideal to use the Left Mouse Button to shoot but i also want to be able to disable it and reenable it without exiting the game.

Yes you could do this with a key or another mouse button. Ideally make use of layers, and on the alternate layer, the left button can be left as default (No change (Don't intercept)). Then to switch to a different layer, use layer modifier keys (to switch only when a key is held) or global hotkeys to switch when a key combo is pressed, or assign the layer switch command to another mouse button.
You could also just disable/enable XMBC completely also using global hotkeys...

NOTE: You can then "cycle" between layers using the button/keystroke or have the layer revert back automatically by a predetermined timer.

I would highly recommend if you do change the left button:
  • Make sure you have "Disable XMBC when scroll lock is ON" and that you have a (scroll lock key on your keyboard). That way if anything goes wrong with the left button, you can disable XMBC by turning on scroll lock and it will be back to default. If you don't have a scroll lock key, you can do this other ways (like the global hotkeys settings) - otherwise it can be complicated to get out of those situations :).
  • You setup a different PROFILE for the program/game you want this to run on - don't use the default profile if possible.
