Horizontial scroll remap on photoshop

Firstly thank you for this amazing app
between using the logitech options & X-mouse programs I've more of less been able to fully customise my mouse (logitech MX master) for photoshop - In photoshop I want one mouse wheel to adjust the brush size (successfully done by remapping the scrolling to '[' and ']') and the horizontial brush wheel to adjust the brush firmness which is done by the '{' and '}' keys.
So far I've not been able to get photoshop to recognise the horizontal thumb wheel as key bindings. Has anyone got any ideas/settings for the best way for X-mouse to translate these commands?
I'm using windows 10 (64bit), logitech options, x-mouse v2.17 for a logitech MX master
