Yes, that's the thing that's causing issues. For example, i have RB+MB4 set to {CTRL}w in chrome. If that isn't executed because the mouse was moved, left click no longer works outside that window. Another button must be pressed to unlock LB.
Back to b33 for now.
What you just said fits my description of problem, the only difference is I'm not sure if moving cursor affects anything. The rest is rather same on my side.

That may be enough to go on for now.... If per tiny chance I get the new certificate tomorrow (not likely), and I steal a little time from *cough* work *cough* (also not likely), then I will have a look tomorrow - else it will have to wait for a while.

OK I think I have found/fixed the problem with chording introduced in beta 34.
But as I don't yet have my new certificate (come on Certum!) I will have to wait to build the (beta) release package
Hopefully by Monday it will be available!

Here is 2.21 Beta 35.
Changes since 2.21 Beta 34 (above):
- #866 - Highlight injected buttons and timed click action button in a different colour to the chord highlight.
- #863 - Fixed issues with button chording introduced in beta 34 after changes for #863. While investigating, I found/fixed other related issues which may explain some of the stuck buttons when using "delay until chord known"
I hope this fixes the chording issues reported in beta 33. If not, please capture some debug log where the problem occurs (note the time) and send it to me so I can investigate further. If it does fix it, let me know!
As usual, feedback welcome - especially if you find a bug! Any issues/problems, Enable debug logging, make a note of the time the problem occurs and then PM me a copy of the log file (or post a snippet of the last hundred lines or so in a code block here).
NOTE: If you have check for beta versions enabled, you should get notified of a new version and prompted to update in the next day or so. This is the most efficient method (bandwidth wise) as the updates are only ~1/3rd of the size of the full install. Otherwise, you can get the full installation beta
HERE. Note that this link will always get you the latest beta version!
I'll try and make a portable version available too soon... Cant do it tonight though. Remind me if I forget!

With new update/fix I'm not entirely sure about all scenarios I mentioned, but it seems to work so far without issues I could notice.

Good to hear, of course, if you do notice anything, let me know!
I found the main culprit but also reverted a few of the changes in 34 and did them a bit differently.

Chording seems to be working fine in this latest beta.

Here is 2.21 Beta 36.
Changes since 2.21 Beta 36 (above):
- #867 - Fixed several bugs found during debugging, particularly some that cause crashes when resuming from sleep/locked screen. Also fixed some issues with the inactivity timer (mouse jiggler) to prevent sleep/locking (which was not working as expected.
which may explain some of the stuck buttons when using "delay until chord known"
As usual, feedback welcome - especially if you find a bug! Any issues/problems, Enable debug logging, make a note of the time the problem occurs and then PM me a copy of the log file (or post a snippet of the last hundred lines or so in a code block here).

Here is 2.21 Beta 37.
Changes since 2.21 Beta 36 (above):
- #869 - Fixed some more issues that could cause XMBC to crash in some circumstances.
- #868 - Fixed several, particularly in portable mode relating to loading custom cursors from the same folder as the executable. Updated change movement to scroll cursors to try and improve quality on Windows 10 and 11.
If you ever see the XBC bugtrap crash window popup (particularly for beta versions) asking you to report the crash, please do so (hit the send report button) and if possible, also contact me here on the forums, Discord or by email so I can try and get to the issue. Whilst the BugTrap logs do often help, they don't always give enough information to diagnose and fix the issue.
As usual, feedback welcome - especially if you find a bug! Any issues/problems, Enable debug logging, make a note of the time the problem occurs and then PM me a copy of the log file (or post a snippet of the last hundred lines or so in a code block here).

Beta 37, mouse wheel scrolling become very slow.
Seems intermittent.
No errors.
Have to do a right-click disable/enable to restore scrolling performance.
Going to revert to beta 36 to try.

Don't expect beta 36 will be any different - the only changes in 37 were to do with icons and cursors...
But is .36 is better / working do let me know!

You are right, beta 36 also has this issue. Any older version to try?

Urm yes I guess there are 35 of them!
First question though, was it all OK in 2.20.5 (the last release?)
I cant remember making any changes for scroll stuff but its been a while, so worth checking the last release. *IF* its working there, then maybe go through the beta's till it breaks- will help narrow down where the problem got introduced (if it was OK before).
I have to say, its not something I have seen here (I think I and lots of other people would notice if the scroll got broken/slow) so maybe its something else in your environment?
To download a specific version, change the numbers at the end of the link:
https://www.highrez.co.uk/scripts/downl ... on=2210035
so (for example) Beta 34 would be 2210034 at the end.

I love XMBC, and higly recommend it... But it is suitable for only "basic/simple" models. I have a Razer V2 Hyperspeed mouse (and it has 19 buttons on it), but XMBC supports only "5" of these buttons. And this is a huge limitation for such a user friendly program... Isn't it possible for you to add customization options for "button 6,7,8.... 9, 20..." etc. ???
