Hi,
I am trying to use parallel port with unity3d, the problem that I have is: once I succeed to work with the parallel port with one application by using the DLL file I can't use it with any other software even if i close the app or restart the Pc, I think that my problem is : I am invoking the port by the inpout32.dll but I am not able to release it.
the only solution that I have is to reset the port from the BIOS!!
please help me with this, is there any function inside the dll file to release the port?
Or Im wrong ?
thanks
inpout32.dll problem
Re: inpout32.dll problem
Sorry, I haven't written to a parallel port in about 20 years so I don't really have any answer to this - other than to ask if you are writing something to the wrong port in the LPT address space? What do you have to change in the BIOS to reset the port?
Maybe someone else can help but don't expect miracles, its rather quiet in this forum!
Thanks,
Phil
