Greetings!
I'm on this global journey, looking for some kind of cheap temperature sensor. What I need to do is:
We have conservation cameras (freezers?) to store meat, and would like to attach a range temp sensor, so when out of range, or periodically, it sends an email, or even better, post some web petition, to inform the current temp, over the network.
Have any one seen something like that?
Hope to found some solution.
Thanks and greetings from Mexico!.

Re: in search for temp sensor and email or web post
The temp sensors I have used a re maxim one-wire sensors and ibutton USB controller - they were very cheep I got them all as free samples but all the software and web logging is pretty custom. I'm sure there are pre-built units available but I wouldn't know where to look other than google.
Sounds like your after something a little more more advanced, and I dont expect you will find what your looking for here.
Thanks,
Phil
