Still using XMBc on Windows 2000?

Post by phil »

Does anyone still use XMBC on Windows 2000?

I'm looking to update the development platform to 2012/2013 but it no longer supports Windows 2000 which would mean dropping support in XMBC. I cant imaging there are that many people still on Windows 2000 but I thought I would check in advance. Let me know here please!

Thanks,
Phil

I take it that no one here is still using windows 2000 then :)
I suspect v2.7 may be the last that supports Windows 2000. After that I can upgrade my development environment from visual studio 2008 to 2013 :)

Thanks,
Phil

imho you can just keep legacy section on the website/downloads with latest build available for e.g.
Windows 2000
Windows XP
etc.

Yes of course I will do that :)
Windows XP is OK and supported in the latest development tools I think, for the time being.
