Don't know how to hide the control setting screen which is opened automatically at every startup of win7.

Check your startup folder, and make sure there isn't a shortcut to XMBC in there. The folder is located in the start menu under all programs.

X-Mouse Button Control is launched by a service, so there shouldn't be a startup entry at that location.

Here is a link to a tutorial with different methods for checking/changing the programs that start with Windows 7.

Actually in 2.6m the service is gone :)
But there is a bug in the installer that does not remove the old startup entry properly.

Use MSConfig and remove any duplicate XMBC entry in the startup tab - preferably keep the registry one and remove the startup folder one.

Thanks,
Phil

Yes, thanks, I've removed it from startup, and it doesn't come out again during startup. :)
