Simulated Keys

Post by Mantree »

Hello I have been using X Mouse Button Control for a while now. After playing around with it, I cant seem to find a way to make a certain thing.
I want it so that when I click LMB, it will be Shift-down LMB Shift-Up.
So basically I want to LMB while shift is held in one click.
After playing around for a while, I still could not find out how.
Help would be appreciated.

Hi,

What version are you running?
Have you tried this...
{SHIFT}{LMB}

in simulated keystrokes, using "during" mode.

I am using 2.0
I have tried that and it does work the way i want it to. I need it to be LMB during Shift. It can not instant the shift is pressed but not too slow. Not sure on timing but its pretty fast.
More a detailed version
I need it to be Shift-down LMB-down LMB-up Shift-Up
LMB must be clicked while shift and shift can only go "up" if LMB was clicked.

I presume you mean that it does not work the way you want it to.
I'm sorry but that really isn't very much for me to go on. Can you please explain exactly what your want it to do, and why you don't think its working?

For example, what application?
Have you tried adding any delays, eg: {SHIFT}{WAITMS50}{LMB} or {SHIFT}{LMB}{WAITMS50}? (where 50 is delay in milliseconds).
Can you try the latest version (v2.1) released the other day?
If that all fails, can you enable debug logging and post a snippet around where you press the button? That might show any timing issues.

EDIT: Lol you beat me to it, but that is how it is intended to work. (shift down, lmb down, lmb up, shift up).

Thanks,
Phil
