Relevant Computer Information (CPU, RAM etc): Acer Aspire laptop
Did the problem occur after an upgrade of XMBC? (If so, from what version?): No
Did the problem occur after a Windows update/upgrade? (If so, from what version?): Yes
How long have you used XMBC?: 5-6 years
What language and keyboard layout do you use in Windows?: Greek / US

Clear description of the problem - try and include as much information as possible, including what button and mappings you are having problems with (if applicable).: I use XMBC since Windows 7 and, later, Windows 10 Pro with no problem at all. I have just moved to LTSC and the installation returns me the message "NSIS Error Error launching installer"

Hummm, I have no idea what that means - did you try re-downloading it - maybe the file is corrupt? If you can check the checksums, they should be:

Other than that, the latest beta available in the beta thread here is a) pretty stable and close to release and b) uses a newer version of the NSIS installer - so if the checksums match for 2.20.5 above, then maybe it might be worth trying 2.21 Beta 48.

Thank you for the response. I don't know how to do a checksum but the exact same file works on Windows 10 Pro. I will try the beta version...

I wonder if the IOT Enterprise version is missing something the installer package (NSIS) depends on...
Cant think why that would be, unless MS have removed stuff for the IOT edition (which kind'a does make some sense)...

The other thing to try is the portable version of XMBC, just to see if XMBC itself works!
