Not Sure if I have posted this in the correct place, please move if needed. I have used XMBC for many years I love it because of its ease of use. I have recently upgraded my mouse to the logitch version stated above. I has an additional 4 buttons which can be programed using logitechs own software, in saying that its very complicated to use and learning new things is not easy for me. I was there for wondering if the author might be or thought of adding extra button support to XMBC in the future.:

It's not like there are technically buttons numbered 7, 8, 9 etc. Those buttons don't have such universal functions and are bind with specific commands. But there might be workaround for that. Those buttons could be bind to any of F13-F24 commands and then XMBC could just bind something to those keys. I know XMBC is for mouse buttons not keys, but that could be a good compromise to use XMBC more widely and universally.
