4th and 5th swap doesnt work

Post by givoltage »

for version 1.52 and 1.53 i've used, the swap option doesnt work when the two buttons are not remapped (set to nothing dont intercept default).

what i need is to just swap the two buttons, so that when i specify "mouse button 4 and 5" in other programs the two buttons work as i desired. but right now this option doesnt make any sense because if you first set remapping functions then swap the two buttons, you can reduce these two steps to one by simply swapping the functions without need of changing the swap 4th&5th button.

if this is a bug, my OS is win7 x64 ultimate with MS generic driver. if it's not, can improvement be made? thanks

update: after 2 hrs of research i finally figured it out using AutoHotkey which is a macro programming tool with the following code.

$XButton1::XButton2
$XButton2::XButton1

but if x-button can do this in GUI it would be nice for noobie users

Thanks, I will have a look and see if I have broken something. I don't use the swap option here, only the swap in remote desktop so I might have missed it.

Thanks,
Phil
