Change movement to scroll not working horizontally

Installed or Portable version: Installed
Windows Version: Windows 11 enterprise 23H2
Mouse Information (brand/model): Jelly Comb wireless vertical mouse MV14B (same as Anker's, they must share manufacturer).
Relevant Computer Information (CPU, RAM etc): i5-1345U, 16GB RAM Dell Latitude
Did the problem occur after an upgrade of XMBC? (If so, from what version?): No, fresh install
Did the problem occur after a Windows update/upgrade? (If so, from what version?): No, fresh install.
How long have you used XMBC?: One day
What language and keyboard layout do you use in Windows?: British English and English default layout.

Clear description of the problem - try and include as much information as possible, including what button and mappings you are having problems with (if applicable).: The feature to change movement to scroll while pressing does not work horizontally, just vertically. I have tested it with Windows Notepad and Office 2016's Onenote and Excell.

Thanks for the new post... It may be the same problem, I'm not sure, but its working fine here on the latest (as of right now unreleased) beta.
I did find one potential issue and put a fix into the latest beta (just published here) so if you could check with that, it would be good.

Thank you, Phil. I've enabled the BETA, download and tested. Unfortunatelly it doesn't work on OneNote and Notepad, I have however give it a go with Edge and it works there.

Are there any logs I can provide that would be useful to you?

Well that's very odd, I certainly didn't make any changes specifically for Edge... The one change (if it was related, maybe not) should have been global - but its something to work with.

Yes some debug log might be useful. Turn on debug logging in settings -> Updates & Logging (then hit OK and Apply).
So reproduce the issue in notepad and onenote, make a note of the time in each application that you do the test.
Then send me the debug log (attach it here or in a PM or email) along with those noted times (the debug log is very verbose so anything to narrow it down is useful!
