In the context of this program, what are 'layers'?

Post by LugosisGhost »

This question really applies to ANY version of this software and any hardware.....What exactly IS a layer when talking about this program? How would I use them?

Thanks for the help!

Did you check the user guide?

Layers essentially allow you to have different button settings (in each layer) for each profile (application). You can switch layers programmatically (in sim keys) or using keyboard hotkeys/modifier keys, so for example if you hold shift, the buttons can do different things.

Thanks for the help, Phil! This really seems like a great program so far....I KNOW it is going to be useful.

I was looking for a way to disable the middle mouse button for a friend who keeps hitting her middle mouse button and then her screen would start scrolling madly and it was driving her crazy. I think your program is the best answer to that need and many other needs that I dont know that I have yet.

Thank you!
