One button performing two actions depending on app focus

Post by wolfgrrl »

I want to be able to assign the same button to two different functions. When working in a specific app, I want it to perform a particular function. When I'm not working in this app, I want the mouse button to perform the "double-click" action. Is there a way to set this up with layers, or is this impossible? I looked at the layer documentation and am a bit confused. Any help provided is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Not with layers - that’s what the application/window profiles are for - where it automatically switches profile for the current application - that’s kinda the basic principle of XMBC!
