Interrupt the {HOLDMS:n} command

Post by JohnnyJenkins »

XMBC Version:
2.20.4
Hi, I'm looking for a way to interrupt the {HOLDMS:n} command, when a specific mouse button is pressed. In my case it's the mouse wheel. When I scroll up I want to interrupt any down scroll that is currently held down, and vice versa. I'm trying to bind zoom controls of an old game to the mousewheel and make it more responsive. Is this possible? :?:

I'm not sure, I will have to check, but have you tried adding {FLUSH} to the beginning of the script that you want to interrupt the other one with? It certainly flushes any remain queue, the bit I am unsure of, if it correctly aborts the held action... I will have to check too!

OK it seems flush doesn't correctly abort the hold delay (and does not even always flush the queue after the delay finishes).
I will fix that in the next beta (2.21 Beta 19) then it should hopefully be able to do what you want.
