simkey {ACTIVATE} problem & button settings revert to undefined upon any change

Does the explorer window activate at all?
Here it clearly goes from inactive to active...

I just wondered if it was a windows version thing - but Im also running windows 10 build 19045 (22H2?!) so not likely to be that....
Will have to pour over the differences between 2.20.2 and 2.20.3 - there were quite a few improvements to activate (and its all good here) but maybe something that has stopped it for you. I wish I could figure out why it works for me and not you though - that's irritating!

Edit: I wonder if fences is the difference....

Ahhhh hold on a second... I just realised, the one that is working for me is the explorer activation....
"Windows Verkenner (Delete)"
Is that working for you?

I missed the button held on the desktop one - yeh that does not seem to be working here either!

Other things and the standard Windows (file) Explorer/"Windows Verkenner (Delete)" windows do activate.
I hope you can find something that has changed and could be the culprit.

I assume you already saw this, but anyway:

Bureaublad:
Process: explorer.exe (desktop)||explorer.exe --> this way i can use 1 profile to delete files in my dekstop(fence) & in my folder(portals)
Class: SysListView32
Parent Class: SHELLDLL_DefView
Match Type: Window

the profile lights up so that just works. Also with a longer press --> D:\Software\Refresh Desktop.exe does run

getting closer I think...

Now it only works if I activate something else first. Then if I middleclick, it activates the folder(portal) and the file delete dialog shows, but:

not working after clicking cancel,
so after clicking i.e. the taskbar or the XMBC window first, i can middleclick again and the activation+DEL are working again for 1 time

I also tested doubleclicking a file, close the videoplayer, middleclick --> not working

What does that mean - is this the same problem or a different one? Sounds like the same problem, but not 100% clear!
