v2.20 scroll wheel not working in Windows 10

Hi and thanks for your work

v2.20
Installed .exe
Win 10 Home x64 / 32GB RAM (desktop) / 8GB RAM (laptop)
5 mouse buttons (tried 2 generic Microsoft mice + an old HP mouse)
generic HID device -plug and go
No other mouse software
How long have you used XMBC? Years.

My settings:
Layer 1 (I have only 1 layer)

Middle Button: Scroll Window Down (not working)
Mouse Button 4: Show/Hide Desktop (works OK)
Mouse Button 5: Scroll Window Up (not working)

Problem is scroll wheel (I use the middle wheel as above) isn't working in any Windows (all windows, folder scroll, Notepad, .doc etc). Problem was also there with 2.20 Beta14 (which I had installed to resolve the Firefox 110 problem).

Going back to an older version (2.15 .exe) resolves the Windows problem (but I'm stuck with Firefox's 100 problem).

Never changed any settings etc although tried a fresh XMBC install which replicated problem (on a desktop and laptop).

Can you send me a copy of your settings? Save profile and send me the file...
From what you describe above, it sounds like a bit of an odd configuration but maybe I'm just confused.
To be clear, you are not using the actual wheel to scroll, but clicking the middle button to scroll up and the 5th button to scroll down?

I'm using Win10 still on my dev machine (laptops et al all updated to 11) so hopefully I can reproduce this and fix it before I put 2.20.1 out, especially if it works with 2.15 (that's a bit old now!) - I'm a little curious as to when (between 2.15 and 2.20) it broke but you probably cant answer that - if I can reproduce, I can check!!

I also tested v2.18.7 (attached profile too) on Win 10 and Win 7 and I get the same results: Firefox 110 not working but auto-scrolling does inside Windows (Notepad, Word, folders etc).

Using XMBC, in all of my mice wheels the middle button/scroll wheel automatically scrolls down everything when pressed (with no movement of the mouse). If I don't use XMBC it works also but only in internet browsers only and once the button locks I have to move the mouse phyiscally to or away from me to scroll but don't touch the button (scroll wheel). That functioning has always been there (20+ years).

The scroll Up (Mouse Button 5/Scroll Window Up) I never use really but it's not working in 2.18.7 or 2.20 in the Windows environment except for Firefox 110. That has no Windows functioning without XMBC so it's not something I use often (I never even knew it wasn't working).

Mouse Button 4 Show/Hide Desktop works in all versions.

This particular bug was introduced in 2.20 at the last minute, trying to fix the firefox issue.
If you must know, I mixed up && with & when checking the window styles to determine if XMBC an send the scroll messages to the window, which in C++ is a bit of an amateur mistake

It will be fixed in the next release, I sent Reven a test package to confirm.
