Feature suggestion , window region aid

Post by WutDsf »

For non advanced users a enhancement to the "Find window"
"Activate the profile only when the cursor is in the specified area" values to have a visual aid similar to desktop capture software region selection tools , instead of inserting them manually

example of such software: Greenshot (open source) : capture region option

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll add it to the list!
No promises on time scales I'm afraid!

Phil

if this should mean such as "if this image appears in this aera"-(switch to that layer), it would be great.

Hello, i really like XMBC. That would be a nice feature. Thanks

Thats not what this is all about - this is about visualizing the area you are setting up - as in highlighting it somehow - to make it clear what area you are defining.

Looking at the content of the screen to determine what is there and to active a profile based on that (which you seem to be suggesting) would not be an easy thing to do - and is unlikely to happen!
