Lost :( (Repeat Function)

Post by TeeMko »

Hi All,

Im really lost with this program. I've read a lot but cant even do a simple thing.
Ive checked many topics but just cant find a simple answer. Im sorry if its a stupid thing to ask.

I need to repeatedly ( with pause like every 5-10 seconds) press space or a mouse button. What code needs to be written, where do I write it, and how do I activate it?

Thanks for any help,
TeeM

Did you try Simulated Keystrokes?

Hi,

I've tried some commands, but I have no idea, how to activate them or when they are really working. Where and what I should type. It really is kinda confusing. Is there a more detail instruction manual or something?
Or anyone that could guide me through the steps what needs to be pressed and when?

Thanks,
TeeM

Ok, I finally found out how to make an avatar press a certain button, problem is, this avatar also always "jumps" whenever this button is pressed.

{PRESS} {SPACE}

Space does not represent jumping. Why does the program make it jump? Any idea?

You need to give us more information. What game or program are you trying to control? What version of XMBC are you using? Basically please provide the information the rules AND the post template request and it will make it easier to help you out.
XMBC Version:
Windows Version:
Mouse Information (brand/model):
Relevant Computer Information (CPU, RAM etc):
Did the problem occur after an upgrade of XMBC? (If so, from what version?):
Did the problem occur after a Windows update/upgrade? (If so, from what version?):
How long have you used XMBC?:
What language and keyboard layout do you use in Windows?:

Clear description of the problem - try and include as much information as possible, including what button and mappings you are having problems with (if applicable).:
Its there for a reason you know, and simply deleting/ignoring it is the best way to not get a sensible reply from the get go.

Now, {PRESS} shouldn't be required (as that is a command to only press and not release the key - and you certainly need it released at some point). You haven't said what keys your trying to send (to the game? Heck you didnt even say if it was a game or not). XMBC does struggle with some games, many simply block it to prevent cheating and some use lower level (raw/direct input) which XMBC can not block the default action, but as I have no idea what your trying to send the keys to, I cant really guess much more).

Regards,
Phil
