Feature Request: Cursor Speed Toggle

Post by miQlo »

XMBC Version: 2.18 Beta 13
Windows Version: Win 10 1809 17763.316 64bit
Mouse Information (brand/model): Logitech MX Master (generic drivers)
Computer Information: >6 years
How long have you used XMBC?:
What language and keyboard layout do you use in Windows?: SWE/ENG

My mouse doesn't have a toggle button for DPI/Cursor speed. I'm missing that feature and therefore have a feature request.

What about implementing an input field where the user could define an array of cursor speed states. Then implement the ability to toggle between these states with Simulated Keys or Button Chording?

I'm aware of the modifier key to slow down the cursor speed btw.

Somewhat related threads:
Can I Use XMouse Control To Change My Mouse DPI?
Any way to temporary override mouse speed?
is there a way to setup mouse speed for each layer?

An interesting idea and theoretically quite an easy one to do.
I'll add it to the list for new features but cant promise exactly when I will get to it - probably 2.19 if its as simple as it looks!

Thanks,
Phil

Warning - the gap between 2.17 and 2.18 was 1 year (I hope this wont be the case for 2.19 but you know!). :)

I'm sorry Phil I totally missed your reply. Just discovered this option in XMBC and had to go back to check this thread. It works perfectly, thank you!
