Horizontal lock of axis allows right scrolling only

Post by unbeleaf »

Hi,

XMBC Version: 2.18
Windows Version: 10 Version 1809
Mouse Information (brand/model): Razer Abyssus
Computer Information: Core i5 6600
Did the problem occur after an upgrade of XMBC or Windows?: No.
How long have you used XMBC?: 1 week
What language and keyboard layout do you use in Windows?: German

Clear description of the problem:

I created one profile in XMBC to change middle mouse movement to scroll for a specific application. This works fine in general. As I only need it to scroll horizontally, I then switched on the option "Lock to X axis". Doing so, I can only scroll to the right, no matter what direction I move the mouse. To be sure it's not an application issue, I created a second profile restricted to the chrome browser, which shows the same behaviour:
  • Don't lock: scroll in any direction works fine
  • Lock to Y axis: scrolling vertically works as expected
  • Lock to X axis: scrolling horizontally always only scrolls to the right
Maybe something else is causing the problem? Any suggestion is appreciated.

Thank you,
Stefan

Hi Stephan,

It is a bug in the current version it may have worked before (in 2.17).

EDIT: I have found & fixed the problem. I am still waiting a few more days to see if any other little bugs appear (as I only released 2.18 last week). Once I have some confidence that no other bugs have been introduced, I will release 2.18.1 - probably this will be in about a week assuming no more surprises!

Thanks,
Phil
