Re: Please help translation XMBC to your language?
Hi Andy,
You can find it in the drop-down list of actions... for each mouse button. It is in the section in the translation file with all the other drop-down "actions" so I would have thought it would be obvious where it was (I guess not!)?
"Drag to move window" means press the button and the window under the cursor moves with the mouse pointer until you release it (like dragging a window using its title bar but it works anywhere within the window)
"Drag to size window" - the same as above but the window size changes with the mouse cursor instead of moves...
Thanks,
Phil

Re: Please help translation XMBC to your language?
{OD} means the following key will only be sent when the button is pressed (down) (not when it is released)
{OU} means the following key will only be sent when the button is released (up) (not when it is pressed)
{OR} means the following key will only be sent when executing the repeat function (not when pressed, or when released, only when repeating).
So for example: Method 6 (repeat while button is held)
{OD}a{OR}b{OU}c
Will - when the button is pressed, send A
Every time the button repeats, send B
And when the button is released, send C
A pointless example but it should show what can be done.
Thanks,
Phil

wouldn't it sound better if word 'releasing' would be replaced with 'performing' or something?Wait until the physical button is released before releasing the last timed action

Re: Please help translation XMBC to your language?
I will fix the missing =>
But performing is not the correct word. The last timed action is started (simulated button down) as soon as its time is valid.
The point of this option is that the simulated button up is not sent until the physical button is released, hence the word "released"
When this option is not checked, XMBC simulates the button down for the last action and immediately, simulates the button up (even thought the original button is held down).
When this option is checked, XMBC simulates the button down for the last action but waits until you release the held button before simulating the button up. For some actions, this makes no difference, but for others, especially those like simkeys which may have "repeat while held" option enabled, it means that they will work when they didn't work without the option checked.
Thanks,
Phil

Re: Please help translation XMBC to your language?
I might have a headache, but how I understood that you referred to to the word "released" which I didn't say it was wrong or anything.phil wrote: ↑Sun Jun 03, 2018 12:01 pmBut performing is not the correct word. The last timed action is started (simulated button down) as soon as its time is valid.

I meant that the latter word "releasing" might be replaced with "performing", "executing" or something similar. Id doesn't sound good to have the same word (even if in differed form) after another. And I think that "performing" or "executing" would better fit. Actions are rather to be performed or executed than released.
Nevertheless I used translation of those words in my translation. In Polish it really wouldn't make any sense if I translated exactly to the word.
