OK here is 2.17 Beta 16.

If you have check for beta versions enabled, you should get notified of a new version and prompted to update in the next day or so. This is the most efficient method (bandwidth wise) as the updates are only a fraction of the size of the full install. Otherwise, you can get the full installation beta HERE. Note that this link will always get you the latest beta version!

Changes since v2.17 Beta 15:
  • #546 - Change "Button Held Time Dependent Actions" to "Button Held" in dropdowns
  • #545 - Fixed {PAUSE} simkey tag
  • #544 - Fixed issue causing {WAIT}/{WAITMS} to fail if {LAYER} is also used.
  • #543 - SimKeys window improvements (size/title)
  • #542 - Fixed {TILTL} which incorrectly sent a tilt right instead of left.
  • #541 - Modified Activate on Scroll to work better in chrome (activating different browser windows)
There are changes to the translation template for 2.17 beta 16.

Any problems, PM me a copy of the log file (or post a snippet in a code block here).

Thanks,
Phil

Eh? Yeh, well I had a day off work and spent it fixing some of the simple/little things. The movement issue, I haven't even had a chance to look at but I know I need to bury my head in it and I really don't think that will happen before 2.17 is released.

PS. Some people have been waiting years for some of the things they suggested.... And they will probably be waiting for ever (or have sensibly given up waiting). I just don't have the time to spend on XMBC that I did 10 years ago - and spending more time on the computer after all day at work - its much more of a chore than it used to be!.

Sorry if it sounded demanding. I meant, addressing bunch of small issues is good on it's own.

Speaking of free time, it's unfortunate the project is not open source and so I can't share some time to make a pull request.

It does indeed.... maybe a Christmas release is on the cards (and then I can look at Killy's issue in 2.18 beta one - I have two weeks off work from Friday (always good to take your Birthday off work :)). Of course, I will be busy with family type commitments for much of that but I should get a good few days to look at XMBC. The only real question is to release 2.17 before looking at more issues - but I think its pretty stable now and 16 beta's is getting a bit silly :)

Yeah! Greate!
One idea for "button Held" - the delay held would be shortly as 100 ms (from 10 ms i thing...).

Thank you very much!

You can set the delay to as many ms you like.

Aha, I see what you mean. Well I think a delay lower than 100 ms would be risky and not reliable. If you need faster action you may use some other features of XMBC, like "Button chording" for example :)

Yes, anything less than 100ms is going to be very difficult to tell the difference between a click and release and a click and hold...
Does your finger even respond that quickly (reliably)? I could reduce it but I don't see it being much use?!

Thank you for reaction.
Yes, my finger is probably very quick and reliably :-D I recorded delay in reaction a must keep in mind this delay in my work. I think, the 50 ms would be useful.

But anyway it this function very useful! (Shortly delay will by just better :) ) Maybe i am solitary with this requirement :)

Yea, I also thought about a minimum of 50 ms. I guess it may be useful for some users

I can do that - it wont do any harm I guess to lower the limit :)
