The funniest thing is that I noticed on that screens that for one thing I had ticked for the mistake sending when the process is active and could correct it.

There is some problem with some strings. They are not showing in my language even if I add their translated version.
For ex: "Reset &sticky buttons when any other button is pressed" on line 133
I added my new Turkish translation for 2.16. I will update regularly sure.
Thanks for your good effort :)

Because in your translation, the line #134 is missing.

Code: Select all

"R&eset sticky buttons when any other key is pressed" => ""
And you forgot to replace the line #32 with your name.

Code: Select all

Thanks Fasak,

I will include your translation in the next distribution of XMBC if that's OK with you. You will find that during the beta periods, there are often lots of changes so ideally keep an eye here, or you can subscribe the the translation mailing list if you want to (the details are buried in this topic somewhere - I'll dig them out and re-post them in a minute.

I tend to send out emails when there is a new translation to be made so it helps people keep up (if indeed you want to do that - there is in no way any obligation to do so!).

Regards,
Phil

EDIT: Mailing list details:
To join the list send an email with the subject "subscribe" to xmbctranslation {at} highrez (.) co (.) uk

Hi again. There was a missing thing on a line I updated all of them from the sample. Now lines are looking correct to me but

on line 398 "For example:\.. and
on line 409 "Special function tags: can't translate even I added their translated version. Can you take a look at this?
I join your list . There is my updated latest version in attechment. Of course you can add. It is looking ok for me except this 2 lines (398 and 409 in this attechment.)
I can update one or two times for 2.16. But for now it is almost completely translated (over %99 ) as you see.

Edit: there was a wrong about author translation. I fix now.

The template you translated may be old, the descriptions of "Special function tags"/"For exsample" ({HOLDMS<n>} tag and others) are updated (replaced) at v2.16 beta11, and later.

NEW (recent versions)

Code: Select all

"For example:\r\n To close a window: {ALT}{F4}\r\n To select all items: {CTRL}A\r\n To type bold 'my text' in Microsoft Word: {CTRL}bmy text{CTRL}b\r\n To send an 'r' key with a 50ms delay between the down and up, {HOLDMS:50}r\r\n To turn OFF numlock, {NUMLOCKOFF}" => ""

Code: Select all

"Special function tags:\t{WAIT:n} inserts a delay of <n> seconds.\r\n\t\t\t{WAITMS:n} inserts a delay of <n> milliseconds.\r\n\t\t\t{HOLD:n} holds the next key down for <n> seconds.\r\n\t\t\t{HOLDMS:n} holds the next key down for <n> milliseconds.\r\n\t\t\t{VKC:n} Sends the specified virtual key code.\r\n\t\t\t{EXT:n} Sends the specified extended virtual key code.\r\n\t\t\t{CLEAR} Clears any modifier tags {CTRL},{ALT} etc." => ""

Yes it fixed now with your updated strings  But every sample ( with installed with xmbc or downloaded seperately from website) they are old. I added updated and fixed %100 version again. After that there is no problem for now.

I downIoaded from https://www.highrez.co.uk/downloads/xmbc_languages.htm I am not sure but may be I did it when copy paste my translation from my old translated sample. I was not look at so deeply. Everything seems fine now. But I will check all lines again tomorrow.

And I have a question
What is the meaing of & in these lines
for ex:

Code: Select all

Mouse Button &4"

Code: Select all

W&heel Up

Need more context to be sure (what section are they in), but Mouse button &4 I think is the label against the dropdown for mouse button 4!!!
And Wheel up is probably the label for the "Wheel up" dropdown - the action to apply when the wheel is scrolled upwards!

I know their meaing but I am only asking for this "&" character only. Is there any differences for where we put this character in our translation ?
