hold 5th button for start chording
wheel up does move the cursor
wheel down does nothing

OK that is the same problem Kukurykus is reporting that I cant reproduce. Now can one of you send me a copy of XMBCSettings.XML with this failing profile so I can compare the whole lot to mine - it must be another (global) setting thats making a difference.
If only there was a save profile as

Good to hear. I'd like to add that everything what BriHecato wrote about that additional behaviour which happens on his desktop is same on mine. Originally I wanted to describe exactly same, word in word, but later I thought I'll do it when you resolve first problem. Now I don't need to write anything, just can confirm what I he found - that other problem we have, so even if I release a button with during method it still works as button was hold.
Its because of the "Ignore remapped vertical scroll" for 200 ms...
If you turn that off then its OK.
The problem is that its not sending the button up.... so it thinks the second "button" (wheel down) is still active, so it does not allow another chord (wheel up)...
Now to figure out how to fix it...
EDIT: Got it!
Beta 3 will fix it (coming shortly)

If you have check for beta versions enabled, you should get notified of a new version and prompted to update in the next day or so. This is the most efficient method (bandwidth wise) as the updates are only a fraction of the size of the full install. Otherwise, you can get the full installation beta HERE. Note that this link will always get you the latest beta version!
Changes since v2.16 Beta 2:
#472 - Add ability to save and load (switch) whole profiles.
#471 - Chorded scroll does not work if Ignore re-mapped scroll is enabled.
#463 - Fixed an issue causing the default chord button action not to release.
There is a new language template for 2.16 beta 3.
Any problems, PM me a copy of the log file (or post a snippet in a code block here).
Thanks,
Phil
PS. It helps if I remember to push the files to the download site - its there now

That's good to hear. Please dont rush finding new problems - I'm starting my new job on Monday so between that and the new F1 season, I probably wont have much time for XMBC in the near future, certainly not like the solid 12 hours I put in to it today!
Regards,
Phil

I forgot tomorrow i'm going to work too. It's extra Saturday workday. So till Monday I have still chance to find something wrong working:) but to be serious, if I have to find something to make for better I mean it has to be from those bugs you just fixed. I hope you did it perfectly. Tomoorow I will do more tests so I can know it, as now I just generally checked it on simple work samples how it works. All seem to be good so far
I didn't knew that solution for Kukurykus problems would be so easy and my completely different idea would speed up diagnose for this issue - best coincidence ever!
Phil, please, never feel under any pressure from my side! Sorry that I "sound" harsh to you - and sorry that I don't completely understand last topic.
Still hoping that You find a solution for binding more mouse buttons
It's above all other functions for me (but you know that already) - at least until You include another ground breaking feature i cannot imagine now.
Question:
Does {SCROLLLOCKOFF} work after {SCROLLLOCKON} is used??
Let the PC do the hard work = AHK + C# + HTML/CSS/JS + XMBC + Clavier+ + AutoLisp + VBA/OOB
BriHecato wrote:Question:

Do you mean in the same simkey sequence?
I dont see why it shouldn't work - if its not, then maybe there is another bug?!
Oh, if you have the global option "Disabled XMBC when scroll lock is on" then as soon as {SCROLLOOCKON} is issued, XMBC will be disabled and will not trigger anything to activate {SCROLLOCKOFF}!!!
Thanks,
Phil

Changes since v2.16 Beta 4:
#475 - Unable to distinguish between desktop and other explorer windows.
.... - Fixed some translation template errors reported by AndyK
NOTE: Due to the change for #475, and "desktop" window specific profile will need to be re-created/edited and the desktop window re-selected. It should now be identified as "explorer.exe (Desktop)" where as all other explorer windows will remain just "explorer.exe".
There is no language template updates in 2.16 beta 5 .
