Inpoutx64 CLI / STI (Python)

Post by JohnnyTheKid »

Hello is it possible to do CLI (Clear Interrupts) and STI (Set Interrupts) instructions using inpoutx64 on Windows 7 64-bit ?
I am using Python ctypes to call inpoutx64. If anyone has some good Python examples for it please let me know.
Thanks

A good question.. I dont know enough low level stuff to answer that one I'm afraid... I suspect not, but I dont know.

Hopefully someone else can help. Another source of info is logix4u but tbh, they dont seem too responsive these days and their forums have gone I think :(

Glad you got the basics working from Python though :)

Thanks,
Phil

All I have is their Yahoo address logix4u@yahoo.com from about 5 years ago - I've no idea if it works (you can only find it on old copies of their website using way back when like this http://web.archive.org/web/200506220830 ... gix4u.net/).

I suspect it won't work - I seem to remember I didn't get any response the last time I sent them an email to ask them to update the details on their website regarding my port of InpOut32 (its still wrong/out of date!)

There is a mail "form" on the site but I've no idea if that works either.

That is the best I can do - sorry about that! If it does work, let us know :)
