Longshine LCS-6320 PCIe parallel port

I'm trying to use that Longshine LCS-6320 PCIe parallel port on Windows 10.
By looking up the I/O Address in the Device Manager properties I can set the data register but trying to set the control register or read status register has no effect, at least my test circuitry LEDs remain off.
On a PC with a built-in parallel port I can set all data and control register and read the status register as expected.
Any help is much appreciated.
