IsInpOutDriverOpen returns false on system startup

Hi,

I'm facing the problem on Windows XP 32-bit when IsInpOutDriverOpen call of my application scheduled in HKCU/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Run returns false, but if the app is launched with a delay the call returns true. Any ideas?

NO significant ideas... Are there any errors in the event log?
I dont see why the driver calls fail at startup, unless for some reason the driver can not be loaded at that time (no reason I can think of).
